Check-in at Edinburgh Airport for your flight to Brussels. On arriving in Brussels we will transfer you by coach to your hotel in Lille where you can check in for the first nights of your 9 night Rugby World Cup France 2023 trip. In the north-east corner of France bordering Belgium, Lille has a unique identity stemmed by French art & culture and influenced by Flemish & Spanish inspiration. The city has a vibrant atmosphere coming from its population whose reputation is for being the kindest in France and for its abundance of “Estaminets” (local breweries).

Match Day

Today is a Rugby World Cup France 2023 match day.

Add to your match day experience by adding the Gullivers Clubhouse to your package. The Gullivers clubhouse will be hosted at the Café Oz in the vibrant neighbourhood of Vieux-Lille from 4pm. The venue is within walking distance of the city centre. Lille's two main stations are just a short walk away for onward connections to the Stade Pierre Mauroy.

Make your own way to the stadium, soaking up the atmosphere that comes only with the magic of major sporting tournaments, alternatively add a stadium transfer to your booking and we'll get you to the match. 6km outside of Lille Centre, Stade Pierre Mauroy is a ‘new-generation’, multi-functional, stadium which can be used in 5 different ways (sport and concerts). From central Lille you can use Metro Line 1 to “Cité Scientifique” before a short walk or Metro Line 2 to “Les Prés” and an express shuttle service to best reach the stadium.

Day at leisure

Enjoy a day at leisure in Lille, perhaps find a local bar from which you can enjoy a match with the locals or if you are looking for something different why not consider booking a sightseeing excursion. A walk through the city streets towards Place du Général du Gaulle will expose you to flamboyant, gold-accentuated, architecture unique to Lille, and once your feet are tired, a trip to (at least) one of the cities ‘estimates’ (local breweries) to try some of the fantastic craft beer is a must. Gullivers will have a range of optional sightseeing excursions for you to choose from closer to the tournament.

Lille to Paris

Today we head over to Paris and the excitement and anticipation of the big match between Scotland and Ireland. We will travel by coach - journey time approx 3 hours and check into our hotel for our 5 nights' stay. 

Days at leisure

Three full days to relax, explore and enjoy Paris. Perhaps find a local bar with a view from which you can people watch or if you are looking for something different why not consider booking a sightseeing excursion. There are a great many sightseeing opportunities to be enjoyed in Paris whether it’s an open top bus seeing all the sights, visiting a museum or one of the many monuments of Paris such as the Eiffel Tower.

Add to your match day experience by adding the Gullivers Clubhouse to your package. The Gullivers clubhouse will be hosted at Café Oz Denfert, on the doorstep of the Montparnasse district, from 3pm. The venue is within walking distance of some of the city's top attractions and is minutes away from Denfert-Rochereau Metro stop for your onward journey to Stade de France.

Make your own way to the stadium, soaking up the atmosphere that comes only with the magic of major sporting tournament. Stade de France is in the Saint-Denis area of Paris and there are plenty of ways to get to the stadium using public transport, using either the RER, Metro or tram followed by a short walk to the stadium.
