Stops in Kuala Lumpur for 1hr 30 mins
Arrive into Auckland. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in the Bay of Islands to check-in for a six night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
Check in for 6 nights at the Kingsgate Paihia on a bed and breakfast basis.
Get to know your dedicated Tour Manager and the rest of your tour party at a welcome drinks function.
After a couple of days of travelling, spend the day relaxing in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Paihia is a historic town with plenty of activities to get stuck into, as well as stunning islands, beaches, and coves to explore.
The first game of the World Cup for Wales! Today we will transfer to the Northland Events Centre in Whangarei, where Wales will take on Scotland. Make sure you soak in the atmosphere as the World Cup kicks off for the Welsh team.
Following the first pool match yesterday, enjoy these days at leisure back at the hotel in the Bay of Islands. Cruises and boat trips are available to see some of the 140 subtropical islands, or learn about Maori culture at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Alternatively, the historic 19th Century whaling town of Russell is a popular attraction, accessible via a short ferry journey.
Today the group will depart the Bay of Islands and head back to Auckland.
Auckland is the most populous city in New Zealand, meaning it is a multi-cultural hub of food, music, arts and culture!
Check into the Travelodge Auckland for your eleven night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
A couple of free days to explore this major city on the North Island. The city's oldest park, Auckland Domain, is very popular and is built around an extinct volcano!
Alternatively, Waiheke Island, or 'The Island of Wine' is a fantastic place to try some local New Zealand wines in a stunning location.
The second pool game! We'll transfer to the Waitakere Stadium today to see Wales take on the host nation, New Zealand. Can they cause a serious upset and defeat the reigning champions on their own turf?
Enjoy 5 fantastic days at leisure in Auckland.
Perhaps spend the day kayaking to Rangitoto Island, a dormant volcano just off the coast from the city that offers beautiful sunsets, or explore the rugged beaches of West Auckland. The Auckland Museum will teach you about Maori culture and traditions, and you can also marvel at the taonga (treasures) on show.
Alternatively, the Sky Tower provides incredible views of the city, 192 metres above sea level. There is also a SkyJump available from the tower for those brave enough!
The third and final pool game! Coach transfers will take you to the stadium in Whangarei and back. Exact timings for the day will be set once the kick off time is confirmed.
One final day to make the most of in New Zealand! Perhaps you'd like to spot rare marine life on a whale and dolphin safari in the Hauraki Gulf and it's stunning coastlines. Matakana is another option close by to Auckland, and offers a foodie's-heaven farmer's market, boutique food stalls and spectacular vineyards.
Today the group will check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport where we will check-in for our flight to London Heathrow.
