A highlight of many a Gullivers trip, our popular Gullivers cricket evening will be back in New Zealand. With past guests including Jonathan Agnew, Phil Tufnell, Jim Maxwell, Sir Alastair Cook, Steve Harmison, Graham Gooch, and many, many more this is a fantastic opportunity to get a unique insight into the game.
As part of the tour itinerary your trip will begin with welcome drinks and an opportunity to meet your Tour Manager and fellow tourists. A group dinner hosted by your Tour Manager is also included during your trip.
To ensure you have the best possible experience on tour, you will have a dedicated Gullivers Tour Manager escorting your tour group in New Zealand. They will be supported by an extensive office and on-site operations team.

Make your own way to London Heathrow, check in/drop your bags off and make your way through customs. Once through customs make your way to the gate to board your indirect flight to New Zealand.

Arriving into New Zealand in Auckland you have some time to clear customs and immigration, collect your bags and stretch your legs before checking in for the flight south to Queenstown where you will be staying for five nights on a B&B basis.
Queenstown is a favourite of Gullivers across many tours with it's breath-taking scenery, laidback lifestyle and its huge variety of activities available in some of the worlds most beautiful settings.
Spend two days at leisure exploring Queenstown. Whether you are choosing to relax and recover from the long flight or heading straight out to book one of Queenstowns' many white knuckle adventure excursions, a walk along the lake in the town centre is always welcome.
In the afternoon of Sunday we have a sightseeing tour included - highlights include a visit to historic Arrowtown, and the Edith Cavall Bridge which spans over the rugged Shotover River.
Sunday evening, join with other tour group members and staff for welcome drinks.

Today we have included a day trip to Milford Sound. Starting early we board the coach for the drive south towards Milford Sound. Whilst this is a long day the views once on Milford Sound are worth every minute! With coffee and viewing stops along the way there is plenty to see and this has been a favourite moment for many on previous trips. Once we get to Milford Sound we will take a cruise on the water along the fiord and admire the waterfalls and wildlife. Milford Sound has some of the world's freshest water and is a bucket list destination for many.

Enjoy a relaxing day in Queenstown.
Although famous for it's adrenaline fuelled activities, Queenstown is also boasts a bustling food and wine scene - Pinot Noir is the award-winning and iconic grape of this region. There are also plenty of walking trails around the city which offer stunning views, and Onsen Hot Pools, overlooking the Shotover River, is always a popular retreat to relax.
Today we depart Queenstown to join the other tour party members in Christchurch ahead of the first Test Match.
It's finally here! With the ground a short walk from your hotel, make your own way to the Hagley Oval for each day of the Test.
The last Test match England played here ended in a draw, though Mark Wood did get his only Test match half-century to date.
Today we check out of our Christchurch hotel to drive north to Nelson, via the Lewis Pass. On the way there we will stop at Hanmer Springs Thermal pools to enjoy a quick soak! The journey will take approximately five and a half hours, excluding the time we spend at Hanmer Springs.

Explore the Abel Tasman National Park - the sheltered bays of the park are great for sea kayaking. Nelson Tasman is where most of the hops in New Zealand are grown, so make sure you sample some of the local produce!
Today we head to Wellington ahead of the second Test.
We will transfer by coach to Picton, where we will board a comfortable ferry that is often described as one of the most scenic ferry journeys in the world. The boat journey lasts about three and a half hours, and when we disembark on the North Island, we will transfer as a group to the hotel in Wellington, where we will be staying for six nights on a B&B basis.
Tonight enjoy the Gullivers Cricket Evening as we get together with friends from the cricketing world to hear the inside track on the England team and the game in general
Each morning transfer with the group to the Basin Reserve for all five days of the second Test. At the end of each day's play, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Today to make our way to Auckland Airport by coach for the flight back to the UK.
Arriving back in London this morning and make your own onward arrangements home.

One of the most popular cricket grounds in the world, and is labelled as a Historic Area in New Zealand. Turned from a swamp into a cricket ground in 1857, it's the oldest Test cricket stadium in New Zealand, and is also the location where now England coach Brendon McCullum scored his famous 302 in 2014. The New Zealand Cricket Museum is also housed on-site, displaying cricket memorabilia and a reference library.

Abel Tasman National Park is renowned for it's golden beaches, sculptured granite cliffs, and world famous coastal track.
Departing Nelson at 7am, board the coach shuttle from your hotel to Kaiteriteri Beach. Here we will board a cruise to Tonga Island Marine Reserve. The seal colony on the island will provide some great photo opportunities, then we will continue to Tōtaranui along the remote northern beaches.
From here, return to historic Tonga Quarry Beach to enjoy a walk along the waterfall trail around the stunning Bark Bay Inlet. A water taxi will collect us from Medlands Beach to return us back to the coach.
This excursion includes a picnic lunch and will return at approximately 6pm.
