Join us and your fellow tourists at our Welcome Drinks function on your first evening in Durban. We have also organised a private game reserve for Christmas Day, including ample opportunity to view some African wildlife in their natural habitat before a long lunch. The beautiful winelands region and Simon’s on the Groot Constantia wine estate await you for New Years Eve celebrations.

Attend our Gullivers Cricket Forums taking place in each test match location where you will be joined by fellow enthusiasts as well as guests from the world of cricket for a Q&A session on the current series.
A dedicated Gullivers Tour Leader will be with your tour every step of the way.
Make your own way to London Heathrow where you will meet your Gullivers tour manager and the rest of your group for your flight to Johannesburg on South African Airways.
Arrive into Johannesburg and after clearing customs and immigration walk across to the domestic terminal for your onward flight to Durban. On arrival into Durban you will be met and transferred to the Hilton hotel where you will be staying for eight nights on a bed & breakfast basis.
This evening get together with your tour manager and the rest of your group for welcome drinks in the hotel.
At leisure in Durban. Maybe walk across to the cricket ground to see how preparations are going for the Test match, do some Christmas shopping in one of the local malls or try something completely different and pay a visit to uShaka marine world.
Enjoy a Christmas Day with a difference. Late morning transfer to a private game reserve for a fabulous Christmas lunch. There will be ample opportunity to view some African wildlife in their natural habitat before a long lunch and chance to relax or maybe play some cricket in the African afternoon sunshine. Late afternoon return to the hotel for the rest of the evening.
Make your own way across the road to/from the Sahara Stadium Kingsmead for all five days of the 1st Test match. On one evening during the test match you will be invited to join us & some well known cricketing faces at the Gullivers cricket forum.
Each evening, a one-way transfer is included from the hotel to Umhlanga where all the bars and restaurants are located. Return to the hotel by taxi at the end of each evening.
Day 1 to 5.
Today check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cape Town. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Westin Hotel in the waterfront where you will stay for eight nights on a bed & breakfast basis.
Rest of the day at leisure to explore the waterfront and prepare for this evening’s festivities.
Early evening you will be transferred out to the beautiful winelands region for New Years Eve at Simon’s on the Groot Constantia wine estate – South Africa’s oldest winery. See the New Year in South African style, before transferring back to the hotel.

Day at leisure to take things easy or do some sightseeing. Perhaps take the cable car up to the top of Table Mountain for stunning views of the bay and beyond, visit Robben Island – where Nelson Mandela spent a large proportion of his time in prison or maybe take a Cape Peninsula Tour to see the point where the two oceans meet.
Each morning transfer to the picturesque Newlands for all five days of the test match. On one evening during the test match you will be invited to join us at the Gullivers cricket forum.
Transfer back to the hotel at close of each day's play.

Final day at leisure to make the most of Cape Town. Relax over a long lunch at one of the finest sea food restaurants or fine dining restaurants or take a trip out to the Stellenbosch region for beautiful views and a chance to visit some of South Africa’s finest wine estates.
This morning check out of the hotel and depart on a trip along South Africa’s garden route, home to many farms providing some of the world’s best fruit from the many orchards that line the route. Known as one of the most spectacular drives along the South African coastline you will have plenty of opportunity to stop and enjoy the stunning views along the way.
On arrival into the coastal town of Knysna check in to the Protea Hotel Knysna Quays located in the heart of the garden route, this hotel enjoys a spectacular perspective of the popular town of Knysna. With the lagoon at your doorstep this hotel is equipped for leisure and relaxation. You are booked in for a two night stay on a bed & breakfast basis.

Today venture inland to visit the Cango Caves near the village of Oudtshoorn followed by a trip to a local ostrich farm. A fascinating and entertaining visit where you have the opportunity to get up close and discover all sorts of facts about these comical creatures. Lunch included.
Located 29km from Oudtshoorn, at the head of the picturesque Cango Valley, lies the spectacular underground world of the Cango Caves. These dripstone caverns, with vast halls and towering formations continue for over four kilometers, with just over a quarter of that available to the public.
The Cango Ostrich farm is located in the lush Cango Valley, 14 km outisde of Oudtshoorn. A fascinating and entertaining visit where you have the opportunity to get up close and discover all sorts of facts about these comical creatures. Lunch included.
Today check out of the hotel and transfer to the Kariega Game reserve for a truly African safari experience. Boasting the Big five with a riverside location and accommodation in luxury lodges Kareiga offers a malaria free safari experience. Stay for two nights on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.
Day to discover the African wildlife. Depart first thing on a morning game drive before breakfast and then spend the day relaxing in these unspoilt surroundings. There are plenty of activities available or simply sit back and enjoy the rest. Late afternoon depart on an evening game drive before returning to the main lodge for dinner. And if the weather is fine we may even enjoy sundowners and an African BBQ under the stars!

After breakfast check out and transfer to Port Elizabeth for an overnight stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel on a B&B basis. With views across the Indian Ocean and the blue flag beaches being only a five minute walk away you will be able to relax and make the most of this small & welcoming city.
This morning check out & transfer to Port Elizabeth airport for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Johannesburg. Situated at altitude and known for its mining tradition, Johannesburg is today the largest city in South Africa & capital of the Gauteng region. On arrival check in to the Southern Sun Katherine Street for a six night stay on a B&B basis.
This evening dine out at one of the many fine restaurants in Sandton.
Each morning transfer to the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium for all five days of the 3rd Test Match. On one evening during the test match you will be invited to join us at the Gullivers cricket forum.
Transfer back to the hotel at close of play each day.
Days 1 to 5.
Today check out and you will be transferred to Sun City for a two night stay in the Sun City Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Full day at leisure in Sun City.
Perhaps play a round of golf on one of the two world-class golf courses that have been played by legends of the game, like Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods. Other sporting options include tennis, squash, the gym or a variety of watersports, from jet skis& parasailing to the fastest zip slide in the world.
For the less adventurous enjoy a safari in the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve, or gamble the night away with a myriad of casino and entertainment options. Or simply relax at the pool, and top up your tan on the beach at the Valley of Waves.
Check out of the hotel this morning and transfer to Pretoria for the final stay on the tour. On arrival check in to the Southern Sun Pretoria Hotel for a six night stay on a bed & breakfast basis. Rest of the day free to explore the elegant political capital of South Africa. If you have time take a trip out to the Voortrekker monument for a fascinating insight into the great trek & the history of the Afrikaner people.
Return match transfers are included for all five days of the final test match. On one evening during the test enjoy a cricket forum with insights into the game from one of our panel of cricketing experts.

Check out of the hotel and make the most of the opportunity to do some last minute shopping before being transferred back to OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg for your return flight to London Heathrow.
