Attend our Gullivers Cricket Forums taking place in each test match location where you will be joined by fellow enthusiasts as well as guests from the world of cricket for a Q&A session on the current series.
With South Africa offering so many must-do activities, we have included in your tour some of the fantastic excursions available. The Cango Caves, Cango Ostrich Farm, John Benn Lagoon Cruise and Kariega Game Reserve Drive are all included in your package. Join us and your fellow tourists at our Welcome Drinks function on your first evening in Durban. We have also organised a private game reserve for Christmas Day, including ample opportunity to view some African wildlife in their natural habitat before a long lunch. The beautiful winelands region and Simon’s on the Groot Constantia wine estate await you for New Years Eve celebrations.

A dedicated Gullivers Tour Leader will be with your tour every step of the way.
Make your own way to London Heathrow where you will meet your Gullivers tour manager and the rest of your group for your flight to Johannesburg on British Airways.
Arrive into Johannesburg and after clearing customs and immigration walk across to the domestic terminal for your onward flight to Durban. On arrival into Durban you will be met and transferred to the Coastlands Hotel in Umhlanga where you will be staying for eight nights on a bed & breakfast basis.

This evening get together with your tour manager and the rest of your group for welcome drinks in the hotel.
At leisure in Durban. Maybe do some Christmas shopping in one of the local malls or try something completely different and pay a visit to uShaka marine world.
Enjoy a Christmas Day with a difference. Late morning transfer to a private game reserve for a fabulous Christmas lunch. There will be ample opportunity to view some African wildlife in their natural habitat before a long lunch and chance to relax or maybe play some cricket in the African afternoon sunshine. Late afternoon return to the hotel for the rest of the evening.
Each morning, transfer to the Sahara Stadium Kingsmead for all five days of the test match. On one evening during the test match you will be invited to join us & some well known cricketing faces at the Gullivers cricket forum.
Days 1 to 5.
Today check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cape Town. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Garden Court Nelson Mandela Boulevard Hotel where you will stay for nine nights on a bed & breakfast basis.
Rest of the day at leisure to explore Cape Town and prepare for this evening’s festivities.
Early evening you will be transferred out to the beautiful winelands region for New Years Eve at Simon’s on the Groot Constantia wine estate – South Africa’s oldest winery. See the New Year in South African style, before transferring back to the hotel.
Day at leisure to take things easy or do some sightseeing. Perhaps take the cable car up to the top of Table Mountain for stunning views of the bay and beyond, visit Robben Island – where Nelson Mandela spent a large proportion of his time in prison or maybe take a Cape Peninsula Tour to see the point where the two oceans meet.
Each morning, transfer to the picturesque Newlands for all five days of the test match. On one evening during the test match you will be invited to join us at the Gullivers cricket forum.
Transfer back to the hotel at close of each days play.
South Africa v England - As part of your ticket we have included entry into marquee hospitality for each day of the test. The Newlands Club marquee is air conditioned & located in the shade of the Newlands oak trees – a short walk from your seats. The hospitality includes a 2 course buffet lunch & morning and afternoon tea daily. Seating is informal and relaxed & is not reserved.
Day at leisure to make the most of Cape Town. Relax over a long lunch at one of the finest sea food restaurants or fine dining restaurants or take a trip out to the Stellenbosch region for beautiful views and a chance to visit some of South Africa’s finest wine estates.
Final day to enjoy Cape Town.
This morning check out of the hotel and depart on a trip along South Africa’s garden route, home to many farms providing some of the world’s best fruit from the many orchards that line the route. Known as one of the most spectacular drives along the South African coastline you will have plenty of opportunity to stop and enjoy the stunning views along the way.
On arrival into the coastal town of Knysna check in to the Premier Hotel Knysna – The Moorings situated on the secluded banks of the Knysna Lagoon for a three night stay on a bed & breakfast basis. This evening transfer to the John Benn for a sunset lagoon cruise.
Enjoy a sundowner and dinner aboard while listening to stories of the legendary pilot of a by-gone shipping era on a relaxing and comfortable trip to the Knysna Heads.
Today venture inland to visit the Cango Caves near the village of Oudtshoorn followed by a trip to a local ostrich farm.
Located 29km from Oudtshoorn, at the head of the picturesque Cango Valley, lies the spectacular underground world of the Cango Caves. These dripstone caverns, with vast halls and towering formations continue for over four kilometers, with just over a quarter of that available to the public.
The Cango Ostrich farm is located in the lush Cango Valley, 14 km outisde of Oudtshoorn. A fascinating and entertaining visit where you have the opportunity to get up close and discover all sorts of facts about these comical creatures. Lunch included.
Day at leisure to relax and enjoy the sunshine & explore Knysna.
Today check out of the hotel and transfer to the Botlierskop Game Reserve for an overnight stay on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. This malaria free, family owned and privately operated garden route game lodge is home to an abundance of animals including 4 of the Big 5, rare antelope species and unique bird life. Relax on arrival and late afternoon depart on a game drive before returning to the main lodge for dinner and sundowners around the fire.
Depart on an early morning safari before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast check out and transfer to George airport for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Johannesburg. Situated at altitude and known for its mining history, Johannesburg is today the largest city in South Africa & capital of the Gauteng region. On arrival check in to the Protea Hotel Wanderers for a six night stay on a B&B basis situated a stone’s throw from the cricket ground.
This evening enjoy a night out at one of the many bars & restaurants in Sandton.
Each morning, walk across to the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium for all five days of the test match. On one evening during the test match you will be invited to join us at the Gullivers cricket forum.
Make your own way back to the hotel at close of play.
Today check out and you will be transferred to Sun City for a two night stay in the Sun City Cabanas Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Perhaps play a round of golf on one of the two world-class golf courses that have been played by legends of the game, like Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods. Other sporting options include tennis, squash, the gym or a variety of watersports, from jet skis & parasailing to the fastest zip slide in the world.
For the less adventurous enjoy a safari in the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve, or gamble the night away with a myriad of casino and entertainment options. Or simply relax at the pool, and top up your tan on the beach at the Valley of Waves.
Check out of the hotel this morning and transfer to Pretoria for the final stay on the tour. On arrival check in to the Centurion Lake Hotel for a six night stay on a bed & breakfast basis. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the cricket ground. Rest of the day free to explore the elegant political capital of South Africa. If you have time take a trip out to the Voortrekker monument for a fascinating insight into the great trek & the history of the Afrikaner people.
Walk the short distance to/from the SuperSport Park, Centurion for all five days of the 4th Test Match. On one evening during the test enjoy a cricket forum with insights into the game from one of our panel of cricketing experts.
Check out of the hotel and make the most of the opportunity to do some last minute shopping in the local mall before being transferred back to OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg for your return flight to London Heathrow.
