Attend our Gullivers Cricket Forums taking place in each test match location where you will be joined by fellow enthusiasts as well as guests from the world of cricket for a Q&A session on the current series.
A dedicated Gullivers Tour Leader will be with your tour every step of the way.
Make your own way to London Heathrow where you will meet your Gullivers tour manager and the rest of your group for your flight to Cape Town via Johannesburg on South African Airways.
Arrive into Johannesburg and after clearing customs and immigration walk across to the domestic terminal for your onward flight to Cape Town. On arrival into Cape Town you will be met and transferred to the Southern Sun Waterfront where you will be staying for ten nights on a bed & breakfast basis.
This evening get together with your tour manager and the rest of your group for welcome drinks in the hotel.
Day at leisure to take things easy or do some sightseeing. Perhaps take the cable car up to the top of Table Mountain for stunning views of the bay and beyond, visit Robben Island – where Nelson Mandela spent a large proportion of his time in prison or maybe take a Cape Peninsula Tour to see the point where the two oceans meet.
At leisure to continue to explore Cape Town and prepare for this evening’s festivities.
Early evening you will be transferred out to the beautiful Winelands region for New Years’ Eve at Simon’s on the Groot Constantia wine estate – South Africa’s oldest winery. See in the New Year in South African style, before transferring back to the hotel.
A chance to recover from the festivities of last night and to spend the day relaxing at the waterfront or at one of Cape Town’s local beaches.
Each morning transfer to Newlands Stadium for all five days of the 2nd Test Match. On one evening during the Test match you will be invited to join us at the Gullivers cricket forum.
Transfer back to the hotel at close of play each day.
South Africa v England - As part of your ticket we have included entry into marquee hospitality for each day of the test. The Newlands Club marquee is air conditioned & located in the shade of the Newlands oak trees – a short walk from your seats. The hospitality includes a 2 course buffet lunch & morning and afternoon tea daily. Seating is informal and relaxed & is not reserved.
Final day at leisure to make the most of Cape Town. Relax over a long lunch at one of the finest sea food restaurants or fine dining restaurants or take a trip out to the Stellenbosch region for beautiful views and a chance to visit some of South Africa’s finest wine estates.
This morning check out of the hotel and depart on a trip along South Africa’s garden route, home to many farms providing some of the world’s best fruit from the many orchards that line the route. Known as one of the most spectacular drives along the South African coastline you will have plenty of opportunity to stop and enjoy the stunning views along the way.
On arrival into the coastal town of Knysna check in to the Knysna Hollow Country Estate for a two night stay on a bed & breakfast basis.
Enjoy the opportunity to relax and explore this pretty seaside before transferring to the John Benn for a sunset lagoon cruise.
Enjoy a sundowner and dinner aboard while listening to stories of the legendary pilot of a by-gone shipping era on a relaxing and comfortable trip to the Knysna Heads.
A full day at leisure to relax and enjoy this charming town which has a vibrant arts and crafts scene and a great choice of cafes and restaurants.
Today check-out of the hotel and transfer to the Garden Route Game Lodge for a truly African safari experience. Boasting the Big Five and accommodation in luxury lodges, the Garden Route Game Lodge offers a fantastic malaria free safari experience. Stay for two nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
A day to discover the African wildlife. Depart first thing on a morning game drive before breakfast and then spend the day relaxing in these unspoilt surroundings. There are plenty of activities available or simply sit back and enjoy the rest. Late afternoon depart on an evening game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner. And if the weather is fine we may even enjoy sundowners!
Today venture inland to visit the Cango Caves near the village of Oudtshoorn followed by a trip to a local ostrich farm. A fascinating and entertaining visit where you have the opportunity to get up close and discover all sorts of facts about these comical creatures. Lunch included. Overnight at the Oudtshoorn Inn on a bed & breakfast basis.
After breakfast check out and transfer to George airport for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Sandton Sun Hotel. Situated at altitude Johannesburg is today the largest city in South Africa and capital of the Gauteng region. On arrival check-in for a six night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
This evening enjoy a night out at one of the many bars and restaurants in Sandton.
Each morning you will be transferred to the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium for the test match. On one evening during the test match you will be invited to join us at the Gullivers cricket forum.
Transfer back to the hotel after each day of play.

Check out of the hotel and make the most of the opportunity to do some last minute shopping in Sandton before being transferred back to OR Tambo airport for your return flight to London Heathrow.
