Flights from London Heathrow to Johannesburg and Johannesburg to London Heathrow are included in your package. Business class flight upgrades are available for £2,450 per person (subject to availability at the time of booking). Please note if you choose to upgrade to business class, an additional £550 per person deposit is required at the time of booking.

  • Day 1

    Departure day

    Make your own way to London Heathrow where you will meet your Gullivers tour manager and the rest of your group for your flight to Johannesburg on British Airways.

  • Day 2

    Arrive Johannesburg

    Arrive into Johannesburg and after clearing customs and immigration you will be met and transferred to the Sandton Sun Hotel where you will be staying for six nights on a bed & breakfast basis. Situated at altitude, Johannesburg is today the largest city in South Africa & capital of the Gauteng region. Please note that it is unlikely that your rooms will be ready on arrival so take some time to explore nearby Sandton with its abundance of shops, restaurants and cafes.

    Gullivers Welcome Drinks

    This evening get together with your tour manager and the rest of your group for welcome drinks in the hotel.

  • Day 3–7

    3rd Test Match

    Each morning, transfer to the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium for all five days of the test match. On one evening during the test match you will be invited to join us at the Gullivers cricket forum.

    Transfer back to the hotel at close of play.

  • Day 8

    Arrive in Sun City

    Today check out and you will be transferred to Sun City for a two night stay in the Sun City Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. 

  • Day 9

    Sun City

    Full day at leisure in Sun City.

    Perhaps play a round of golf on one of the two world-class golf courses that have been played by legends of the game, like Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods. Other sporting options include tennis, squash, the gym or a variety of watersports, from jet skis & parasailing to the fastest zip slide in the world.

    For the less adventurous enjoy a safari in the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve, or gamble the night away with a myriad of casino and entertainment options. Or simply relax at the pool, and top up your tan on the beach at the Valley of Waves.

  • Day 10

    Arrive in Pretoria

    Check out of the hotel this morning and transfer to Pretoria for the final stay on the tour.  On arrival check in to the Southern Sun Pretoria Hotel for a six night stay on a bed & breakfast basis. Rest of the day free to explore the elegant political capital of South Africa. If you have time take a trip out to the Voortrekker monument for a fascinating insight into the great trek & the history of the Afrikaaner people.  

  • Day 11–15

    4th Test Match

    Transfer to/from the SuperSport Park, Centurion for all five days of the 4th Test Match. On one evening during the test enjoy a cricket forum with insights into the game from one of our panel of cricketing experts.

  • Day 16

    Departure day

    Check out of the hotel and make the most of the opportunity to do some last minute shopping before being transferred back to OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg for your return flight to London Heathrow.
