Airport transfers by coach are included as well as any overland touring whilst in Australia. Match Transfers from the Gold Coast to Brisbane are included for the 1st Test Match.
A firm favourite from previous Lions Tours, our popular Gullivers Lions Clubhouse Events are back again in Australia. These are included in your package where highlighted in the itinerary. Previous events include sit down Q and A’s, lively pub events with live music, wine tastings and local rugby club events. With a great atmosphere and true rugby camaraderie, these included events are sure to be highlights of your trip. As always there will be opportunities to hear from Lions Legends, previous guests include Gavin Hastings, Ben Kay, Scott Gibbs, Richard Hill, Scott Quinnell, Martyn Williams and many more.
A major highlight of touring with Gullivers is the opportunity to see Ex Lions legends at our events. After the major success of NZ 2017 we are excited to unveil our travelling Lions Ambassadors for Australia shortly. They will be there in Australia and ready to share the joy of rugby touring with you! Joining them will be a variety of other familiar faces across the tour and events.

To ensure you have the best possible experience on tour, you will have a dedicated Gullivers Tour Manager escorting your tour group in Australia. They will be supported by an extensive office and on-site operations team.

The British & Irish Lions Tour of Australia
Gullivers Sports Travel have been touring to Australia for many years for supporters trips to major events such as The Ashes, Summer Tours and of course for the Lions. This will be our third Lions trip to Australia.
Gullivers Sports Travel is fully ABTA bonded, and ATOL protected when flights are included. This offers you financial protection and means that you can relax and book your trip safe in the knowledge that your booking is fully protected with a reputable tour operator.
Make your own way to the airport, check in/drop your bags off and make your way through customs. Once through customs make your way to the gate to board your indirect flight to Australia.
Economy class flight from London included with upgrades available; Return Business Class upgrade supplement +£6,000pp, Return Premium Economy upgrade on request (see extras tab).

This flight will be indirect via a stop off point that will be confirmed once airline programmes are in range.
Upon arrival into Adelaide, after clearing customs and immigration, your Tour Manager will meet you in the airport to transfer the group to your hotel to check in for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. Small in size, but big in nature, the city of Adelaide is idyllically situated between some of the countries top wine regions and most beautiful beaches. The city offers some of Australia's best restaurants and boutique shops. The drive in from the airport is only a short one at approximately 15-20 minutes.
This evening the group will get together with the Tour Manager for Welcome Drinks. Get to know your tour group and tour manager, reminisce on past tours and trips and share the excitement of the magic of The British & Irish Lions Tour ahead.
Meet with your Tour Manager and the rest of your group and enjoy a drink together. It's a great chance to get to know each other and have a relaxed start to the tour.
Enjoy a day at leisure in Adelaide.
Make sure to start your day by heading for the Adelaide Central Market, one of the largest undercover markets in the Southern Hemisphere which features more than 70 stalls of South Australia's freshest produce including fruit & veg, artisanal breads, cheese, meats, local seafood and plenty more. After the Market, you could head to North Terrace where many of Adelaide's main cultural institutions sit shoulder to shoulder.
In the evening, find yourself on Rundle Street, the classy side of the city, where there are plenty of excellent restaurants serving an array of cuisines that suit every budget.
Be a part of history today and witness The British & Irish Lions play against an Invitational AU & NZ side, the likes of which we haven't seen on a Lions tour since 1989. The Adelaide Oval is in a great location to walk to/from the stadium
Today we will leave Adelaide and head North to the Gold Coast, home to some of the most beautiful coastline in Australia. Transfer with the group to the airport to check in for your flight. Upon arrival in Queensland transfer with the group to the hotel where you can check in for 7 nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
Upon landing in Brisbane, transfer to the Gold Coast. (Approx 1.5 hour journey)
Enjoy some time at leisure in the Gold Coast. As the date of the 1st Test Match approaches the Gold Coast will become more populated with a sea of red.
The Gold Coast has beautiful coastline to enjoy but also, and often forgotten, a very beautiful hinterland that is worth a visit.

Today Gullivers Sports Travel host the first of our exclusive Gullivers Lions Clubhouse events. A firm favourite on previous Lions Tours, our events have included sit down Q&A's with former players, local rugby club events where we have immersed with the local rugby community and pub days with live music, food and drink. The day of the 1st Test is here. How will this Lions team start? Will they firmly place themselves in the drivers seat, or will the Wallabies establish an early lead in this 3-Test series? Be there in the stadium for this experience of a lifetime.
