Your trip: British Grand Prix 2025

What was your favourite part of the trip?

Spending the weekend at Silverstone was truly unforgettable. The atmosphere was electric—being at the heart of British motorsport, surrounded by the roar of engines and the passionate crowd, was incredible. Lando Norris’s first home win made it even more special.

One of the standout moments was when the rain hit, turning the crowd into a sea of ponchos and umbrellas. Despite the downpour, the energy never dipped; if anything, the shared experience brought everyone closer. Rain, drama, and racing perfectly captured the essence of Silverstone.

How was the race?

I think if I could sum the race up in 3 words it would be Hülkenberg On Podium?!?

Lando Norris claimed his first home victory in front of a roaring Silverstone crowd, a dream come true for him and the fans.

Piastri dominated the early stages but received a 10 second penalty under the Safety Car restart which added some controversy and shook things up.
And then there was Nico Hülkenberg, finally securing a long-overdue first podium after an incredible drive from 19th on the grid. It was one of the most emotional moments of the weekend and a fan-favourite story.

It was shame not to see Lewis on the podium, finishing P4. While he didn’t reach the podium, his performance was strong, and his home support was as passionate as ever.

The rain played a massive role in shaping the race, it felt like quite the chaotic showdown with safety cars, spins (including Verstappen) and risk-filled tyre gambles. Constant position changes kept us on edge, and pit stop timing proved absolutely crucial.

This year’s British Grand Prix was a classic, blending emotion, chaos, and brilliance. From Lando Norris’s dream victory and Nico Hülkenberg’s long-awaited comeback, to dramatic weather twists and surprising penalties, the weekend had all the ingredients for an unforgettable Formula 1 experience.

It’s not the British Grand Prix without a little rain after all.
