Your trip: 2025 Monaco Grand Prix
What was your favourite part of Monaco?
Monaco really lived up to my expectations! It perfectly encapsulates all the glamour of the F1 along with the natural beauty of the French Riviera. From luxury yachts bobbing in the marina, breathtaking landscapes, and the buzz of anticipation in the air during race weekend, it’s hard to pick a favourite part!
Walking along the iconic circuit, seeing the pits, and soaking in the electric atmosphere made it feel special; no circuit quite compares to Monaco. Whether I was watching the race, strolling through the old town, or enjoying a coffee with a view, Monaco delivered a perfect blend of adrenaline and elegance.
What was your favourite part of the trip?
Race day! Race day in Monaco was truly an experience like no other—unlike anything I’ve ever been to before. The energy in the air was electric, with the entire city buzzing with excitement from the early hours. We kicked off the day by exploring more of Monaco’s magnificent architecture and charming, winding streets. Every corner felt like something out of a movie set. One of the highlights of the morning was making our way up to the iconic viewpoint overlooking the marina. From there, the view was just breathtaking— yachts lined the harbour, and the Mediterranean stretched out into the horizon, all set against a backdrop of vibrant city life gearing up for the Grand Prix.
After soaking in the sights and the sun, we made our way back to the circuit. It wasn’t just about the race; it was about the full experience—Monaco, the people, the scenery, and the sport coming together. A weekend I’ll never forget!

How was the Race?
The race exceeded my expectations by a mile! Taking my seat in the stand, you could feel the energy from the crowd before the race had even begun. Looking out past the track, crowds lined the Monaco landscape, there wasn’t an empty spot in sight, everyone was trying to get a view of the track.
Quick off the line, Charles Leclerc got a run on Norris and pulled alongside with Norris suffering a huge lock-up as he held his line into Turn 1 to keep Leclerc at bay, while Oscar Piastri didn’t have the best getaway but still managed to stay ahead of Max Verstappen.
Gabriel Bortoleto went nose-first into the barrier at Portier, crowded into the barrier by Kimi Antonelli. Norris pulled a second clear of Leclerc, who quickly dropped Piastri by four seconds.
Lap 9, the top ten were running as they were on the grid when Gasly crashed his Alpine as he tried to pass Tsunoda. Verstappen tried to challenge Piastri, and decried the McLaren driver blocking off.
Back at the front, Verstappen, who had yet to make his second pit stop, was leading ahead of Norris, who had Leclerc on his rear wing. The Ferrari driver, who couldn’t find a way through, had Piastri on his rear wing. And then Verstappen pitted, on the penultimate lap.
That put Norris back up into P1 with the McLaren driver winning the Monaco Grand Prix ahead of Leclerc and Piastri!
What would you recommend doing in Monaco?
Taking a walk up to the infamous viewpoint should be at the top of your list! The views are truly breathtaking, and it’s a great spot to get some pictures. As you make your way back down, stop off to explore the windy lanes, which are filled with hidden gems. From quirky coffee shops to boutique clothing and jewellery shops, you’d be surprised at what you can find!
