What's New on the 2027 Formula 1 Calendar?

The biggest headlines surround the return of two fan-favourite venues.

Portugal returns to the Formula 1 calendar for the first time since 2021, with the Algarve International Circuit at Portimão hosting a Grand Prix in June. The circuit quickly became a favourite among drivers and fans during its previous appearances thanks to its dramatic elevation changes, fast corners and unpredictable racing. 

Formula 1 will also make a welcome return to Türkiye, with Istanbul Park rejoining the schedule in October. Formula 1 Expands Sprint Racing in 2027

Formula 1 has increased the number of Sprint events from six to a record ten races for 2027 following growing popularity among fans and broadcasters.
