The British & Irish Lions will face a combined Australia-New Zealand team on their 2025 tour to Australia.
The last Lions tour was played behind closed doors in South Africa due to Covid restrictions. An agreement has been reached with the Premiership and URC to bring their finals forward by a week to allow the Lions greater preparation time.
The series will begin at the Optus Stadium in Perth, with the finale at Sydney’s Accor Stadium, which can hold more than 80,000 fans, on Saturday, August 2.
They are set to play in front of a record crowd of around 100,000 at Melbourne Cricket Ground during their 2025 tour of Australia.
The full schedule of the nine-match tour to Australia has been revealed, including a match against the invitational combination side.
