Arrive in Johannesburg
On arrival in Johannesburg you will be met and transferred to the Protea Hotel Balalaika Sandton for an eight night stay on a bed and breakfast basis. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore the elegant political capital of South Africa.

This evening get together with your tour manager and the rest of your group for welcome drinks in the hotel.

Days at leisure
Two days at leisure in Johannesburg.
On Thursday, we have three optional excursions on offer, including half day tours of Johannesburg or Soweto where you can explore the history and culture of these unique cities. If you prefer to make a full day of it, we have a trip to Sun City & The Pilanesberg National Park where you can experience a South African safari and get up close to the Big 5.
