Flights from London Heathrow to Cape Town, Cape Town to Durban and Johannesburg to London Heathrow are included in your package. Business class flight upgrades are available for £2,300 per person (subject to availability at the time of booking). Please note if you choose to upgrade to business class, an additional £550 per person deposit is required at the time of booking. World Traveller Plus upgrades are available for £550 per person (subject to availibility at the time of booking). Coach transfers to and from the airports and hotels are included in your package. We have also also included all excursion transfers (Game drive, Hluhluwe to Battlefields Country Lodge with tour of battlefields on route, Battlefield Country Lodge to Drakensberg Mountains) and daily match transfers in Durban and Cape Town.
With South Africa offering so many must-do activities, we have included in your tour some of the fantastic excursions available. The Ubizane wildlife reserve will provide two nights accommodation along with a three hour sunrise game drive in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve, a cultural visit to the Dumazulu Village and a final afternoon safari. More fantastic excursions for this package include Rorkes Drift to see the battle of Isandlwana site and a stay in the Drakensberg Mountains. We really have included everything to make this not only the cricket tour of a lifetime, but a holiday of a lifetime.

Attend our Gullivers Cricket Forums taking place in each test match location where you will be joined by fellow enthusiasts as well as guests from the world of cricket for a Q&A session on the current series.
Join us and your fellow tourists at our Welcome Drinks function on your first evening in Cape Town. The beautiful winelands region and Simon's on the Groot Constantia wine estate await you for New Years Eve celebrations.

A dedicated Gullivers Tour Leader will be with your tour every step of the way.
Make your own way to London Heathrow where you will meet your Gullivers tour manager and the rest of your group for your flight to Cape Town on British Airways.
Arrive into Cape Town and after clearing customs and you will be met and transferred to the Westin Hotel where you will stay for nine nights on a bed & breakfast basis. It is unlikely that your rooms will be ready when you arrive so after storing your bags at reception head across to the waterfront area to explore the many bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and sightseeing opportunities that are on offer.
This evening get together with your tour manager and the rest of your group for welcome drinks in the hotel.
Day at leisure to explore Cape Town and prepare for this evening’s festivities.
Early evening you will be transferred out to the beautiful winelands region for New Years Eve at Simon’s on the Groot Constantia wine estate – South Africa’s oldest winery. See the New Year in South African style, before transferring back to the hotel.
Day at leisure to take things easy or do some sightseeing. Perhaps take the cable car up to the top of Table Mountain for stunning views of the bay and beyond, visit Robben Island – where Nelson Mandela spent a large proportion of his time in prison or maybe take a Cape Peninsula Tour to see the point where the Indian & Atlantic oceans meet.
Each morning transfer to the picturesque Newlands for all five days of the test match. On one evening during the test match you will be invited to join us & some well known cricketing faces at the Gullivers cricket forum.
Transfer back to the hotel after each day of play.
South Africa v England - As part of your ticket we have included entry into marquee hospitality for each day of the test. The Newlands Club marquee is air conditioned & located in the shade of the Newlands oak trees – a short walk from your seats. The hospitality includes a 2 course buffet lunch & morning and afternoon tea daily. Seating is informal and relaxed & is not reserved.
Final day at leisure to make the most of Cape Town. Relax over a long lunch at one of the finest sea food restaurants or fine dining restaurants or take a trip out to the Stellenbosch region for beautiful views and a chance to visit some of South Africa’s best wine estates.
This morning check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Durban. On arrival into Durban you will be and transferred to Ubizane wildlife reserve for a 2 night stay on a full board basis. Rest of the day free to relax and enjoy the African scenery before dining at the lodge this evening.
This morning depart on a three hour sunrise game drive in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve (followed by breakfast). Afterwards, head to the Dumazulu Cultural Village.
After lunch return to the Hluhluwe game reserve for an afternoon safari before returning to Ubizane for dinner.
This is the perfect opportunity to get up close to the Big 5 in their natural environment.
Learn about the local customs and see some traditional zulu dancing.
After breakfast check out and head up to Battlefields country (4 hour drive) where you will be met by our expert guide who will take you back to the battle of Isandlwana and then on to Rorkes Drift to relive this famous battle. Following Rorkes Drift continue on to the Battlefields Country Lodge in Dundee for an opportunity to ask the battlefield expert more questions over dinner.
This morning check out of the Battlefields Country Lodge and drive into the majestic Drakensberg Mountains where you will stay at the Cathedral Peak Hotel for two nights on a full board basis. Nestled in the unspoiled surroundings of the Drakensberg mountain range (a World Heritage Site) the hotel offers a myriad of activities allowing you to soak up the African sunshine and enjoy our last few days on tour.
Go hiking, biking, bird watching or horse riding up in the mountains, play golf on the 9 hole course or relax around the hotel pool (additional cost for excursions).
Use this full day at leisure to relax, or if you are feeling more active, enjoy more of the fantastic activities on offer.

Check out this morning and drive north to Johannesburg for your flight home. The total journey time will be five hours and several stops will be incorporated along the way.

Situated in the forested Ubizane Wildlife Reserve, with wooden floors and a spacious modern bathroom, all air-conditioned rooms at Zululand Tree Lodge come with a balcony and view of the Fever trees.
A buffet breakfast is served daily in Tree Lodge's restaurant, which overlooks the gardens. There is an adjoining veranda terrace where guests can relax on reed sofas and chairs.
Battlefields Country Lodge is nestled in green valleys overlooking rolling hills, dams and the famous Talana hill which is the site of the first battle between the Boers and the British soldiers.
