Make your own way to London Heathrow where you can check in and head through customs before boarding your flight.
Arrive into Mumbai and after clearing customs and immigration transfer to your hotel in Pune where you can check in for the next three nights on a bed and breakfast basis. This is roughly a four hour journey.
Pune is a thriving and vibrant metropolis, that epitomises both the ancient and modern aspects of 'New India.'
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day of sightseeing in Pune. Pune is an ever-growing hub of entertainment and technology, and also has a lot to offer in terms of history and culture. On the tour we will visit the Aga Khan Palace, built in 1982, which served as a prison to Mahatma Gandhi and his wife. Shaniwar Wada will be another stop - a fortress built by the first Peshwa Baji Rao.

After breakfast today, the group departs on a walking tour of Kolkata's iconic monuments and buildings and some local bazaars. This will provide a unique insight into daily life in this multi-faceted city.
In the evening, we will enjoy a Sunset Cruise along the Hooghly River. The boat departs from Babughat Jetty, sails past the Howrah Railway Station and various heritage sites on the banks of the river.
This morning, check-out of your hotel and transfer to the airport with the group for your flight to Mumbai. On arrival, we will then transfer to the hotel where we will check-in for a three night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
Mumbai is a bustling metropolitan hub on the Arabian Sea. The capital of Maharashtra, this city is overflowing with energy and culture.
After breakfast today, enjoy a narrated sightseeing drive through the bustling streets of Mumbai. The tour will stop for photos at the iconic Gateway of India and the Victoria Terminus, which is the city's central railway station and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour will continue along the seaside promenade, visiting Mani Bhavan, which was once the residence of Mahatma Gandhi.
