Depart Cardiff by aircraft charter today. Arrive Rome earlyafternoon. No accommodation or transfers included.
Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. With its wealth of culture, history and beauty, it's difficult to choose what to do in Rome
Take a tour of the Colosseum, ancient Rome's huge amphitheatre which held up to 55,000 people. Built by Emperor Vespasian in AD 80, it was the scene of many deadly gladiatorial and wild animal fights. Simply a must-see and it looks sensational illuminated at night too.
After taking in the Colosseum, head to the Forum nearby. Once the centre of the Roman Empire, the Forum is one of the most popular sights in Rome. It’s easy to spend several hours wandering through the ancient ruins and marvel at this bygone era of human civilisation.
