As the Official Travel Supplier of the Welsh Rugby Union, our match tickets are guaranteed and supplied to us by the WRU. Our merchandise is official and we also have exclusive access to the squad at one of their training sessions and there will be the opportunity to mingle with one of the players at one of our rugby functions.

Tickets to all three Tests

As Official Travel Supplier to the Welsh Rugby Union, your official match tickets are from the WRU's allocation to each of the three Tests in Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin and the Chiefs v Wales match in Hamilton. Tickets will be added to the package price at face value once announced.

Mix with the locals at our pre-match rugby functions

Prior to the 2nd & 3rd Test matches we have arranged for you to visit a local rugby club to mix with like minded Kiwi rugby folk and share stories and experiences. Timings are still to be confirmed but it is likely to be the night before the Test in Wellington & on match day in Dunedin.

  • Day 1

    In Flight

    Meet at Principality Stadium, the home of Welsh rugby for your coach transfer to London Heathrow. A Gullivers representative will be on the coach to greet you and will travel with you down to the airport.

    On arrival check in with Singapore Airlines for your flight to Auckland via Singapore

    Transfer from Cardiff to Heathrow

    If you are travelling on our group flights, return transfers are included for you from Principality Stadium to London Heathrow.

    Arrive Auckland

    Arrive Auckland early morning. After clearing customs and immigration you will be met by our local ground agent and transferred to your first hotel.

    After checking in to your hotel spend the rest of the day at leisure  recovering from the flight until this evening when you will meet up with the rest of your group for welcome drinks in the hotel bar.

    You will be staying in the centrally located Grand Chancellor Hotel Auckland for a four night stay on a bed & breakfast basis.

    Exclusive access to the Wales squad

    Included during your tour is the chance to meet a member of the Wales squad. On an evening mutually convenient to the tour and the squad, we will arrange for a player/coach to join us for drinks in the bar and a Q&A session.

  • Day 4

    1st Test

    Spend the morning getting to know Auckland before transferring to Eden Park for the first test. 

    Return transfers included to the game.

  • Day 5–6

    Auckland

    At leisure in Auckland. Take the lift up the Sky Tower for spectacular views across the city, enjoy the bars & restaurants at the Viaduct or take a trip further afield to explore the local sights of the City of Sails. 

    Included in your tour on Sunday is a harbour cruise. A great way to see the city from a different perspective and learn about the history of the city.

  • Day 7

    Rotorua

    Check out of your hotel and transfer south to Rotorua, via Hamilton for a two night stay on a B&B basis at the Sudima Hotel.

    Stop in Hamilton and you will be taken to the FMG Stadium Waikato.  After the match transfer onwards to Rotorua.

    You will stay for two nights at the centrally located Sudima Rotorua, near to the lake and within walking distance of all the main bars & restaurants.

  • Day 8

    Rotorua

    This morning visit the Te Puia geothermal experience and explore the 60 hectares of natural mud pools, hot pools and geysers.

    Rest of the day free to relax and enjoy Rotorua. Take the gondola for great views across the city or visit the Polynesian spa to relax in natural outdoor hot pools of 38 to 42 degrees.

    This evening experience the Maori culture up close to include a traditional haka and a hangi dinner where food is cooked beneath the ground on hot stones.

    Experience the geothermal natural wonders of the area at Te Puia. The trip is included in your tour.

  • Day 9

    Wellington

    Continue your journey through the spectacular kiwi countryside with a stop at the National Rugby Museum in Palmerston North on the way. Well worth a visit – the museum is carefully arranged to display personal, national and international memorabilia for NZ Rugby.

    On arrival into Wellington check in to the Mercure Hotel for four nights on a B&B basis. 

    During your stay in Wellington we will arrange for you to attend a Welsh training session. An opportunity to see the team preparing for the big game ahead.

    Centrally located within walking distance of the stadium enjoy a four night stay at the Mercure Hotel on a B&B basis.

    A visit to the National Rugby Museum is included in your tour.

  • Day 10

    Wellington

    Day at leisure to enjoy this compact capital city.  Take the tram up to the lookout at Kilburn. On a clear day you can see right across to the South Island. Head on down to the water at Oriental Bay,on a clear day you can see the South Island. Or simply sit and soak up the atmosphere in one of the many bars and cafes in the city centre.

    This evening head out to a local rugby club to mix with the Wellington rugby community in anticipation of tomorrow’s big game.

    Included in your tour is a visit to a local rugby club where you can swap stories with the kiwi rugby fraternity. A great evening spent in the company of like minded people talking rugby.

  • Day 11

    2nd Test

    Morning at leisure before making your own way across to the Westpac Stadium, commonly known as the Cake Tin.

    Queenstown

    Check out and transfer out to the airport for your flight to Queenstown. On arrival transfer to the Copthorne Hotel Lakeside where you are booked for three nights on a B&B basis.

    The jewel in the South Island, Queenstown is a dramatic and spectacular destination to spend four days. Snow capped mountains rise up from a crystal lake and for the adrenaline junkies there is everything from bungy jumping to sky diving available to try.

     

    Copthorne Hotel Lakeside

    A great location for your three night stay in Queenstown. The hotel enjoys spectacular views across the lake and is within walking distance of the city centre. Please note that our rooms will have garden or mountain view. A supplement is payable to upgrade to a lake view.

  • Day 14–15

    Queenstown

    Two days free to explore Queenstown. .

    Included in your tour cost is the Skyline Gondola up to Bob’s Peak for a breathtaking view out across Lake Wakatipu. At the top there are walking trails, a restaurant and a luge track if you are feeling adventurous.

    In the afternoon we recommend the Shotover Jet for an adrenaline fuelled jet boat ride down the Shotover River taking you deep into the spectacular Shotover River Canyons

    On Wednesday perhaps take a day trip to Milford Sound, located within Fiordland National Park to experience one of New Zealand's most stunning natural attractions. The drive down is spectacular enough but on arrival as you take a boat out onto the water, the sheer scale of the scenery is incredible. A truly unforgettable day.

  • Day 16

    Dunedin

    This morning check out and transfer by coach from Queenstown to Dunedin. The drive through Central Otago is very scenic and takes about four hrs (295km).

    On arrival check in to the Kingsgate Hotel for three nights on a bed and breakfast basis.

  • Day 17

    Dunedin

    Day at leisure to explore this compact and rugby mad city. Maintaining strong links to its Scottish ancestry Dunedin has a rural and rugged feel to it.

    Home to a vibrant student population, real kiwi country folk and rugby players used to competing against a harsh climate it’s the perfect ending to a rugby tour of New Zealand.  

  • Day 18

    3rd Test

    Morning at leisure.

    In the afternoon get to know the people of Dunedin through a visit to a local rugby club before attending the third & final Test this evening at the Forsyth Barr Stadium.
