Watching the Ashes in Australia is at the top of many cricket fans’ wish list, and it’s not hard to see why. Long days in the beautiful sunshine watching as the teams - with a rivalry steeped in history - battle it out across five wonderful destinations makes for an unforgettable cricket holiday.

Over the years there have been so many unforgettable cricketing moments that I have had the pleasure of commentating on, and the Ashes never disappoints. From Darren Gough’s hat trick in Sydney, to Alastair Cook and Jonathan Trott blunting everything the Aussies could throw at them at the Gabba and, finally, Andrew Strauss’ men winning the Ashes in the mighty MCG, the players raise their standards and performances as the crowds get behind the teams.

I’m looking forward to being part of the tour hosting Gullivers' Cricket Forums. Joining me four years ago were, amongst others, England tour manager Phil Neale, Vic Marks, Mike Selvey, Greg Matthews and Terry Alderman who are able to offer an unrivalled experience and perspective into the events on the field. Join us as we discuss the tours so far, the major talking points of the day and offer an insight into the life of an England cricket tour.

England performed poorly on the last Ashes tour of Australia, which provided many lively topics for discussion and debate – none more so than when Graham Gooch joined us straight from the dressing room in Sydney the evening after the final ball of the whitewash series. I remember the questions from the floor that evening were particularly lively, and it's those opportunities that make the forum such a great part of the Gullivers tour.

I’m really delighted to be joining the team once again, and hope to see you all in Australia for what we all hope will be a more successful end result for the England team!
