Whilst it will have been 8 years since travelling fans have been in the crowd since the last Australian Ashes we have been touring Australia more recently, with trips to the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup and the upcoming British & Irish Lions Tour in 2025. Arrive Australia
Make your own way to Perth, where you can check-in to your hotel for 9 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The beautiful city of Perth is truly the definition of 'the best of both worlds' where soft-sandy beaches and scenic parks meet a thriving metropolis of independent bars and creative restaurants. The drive in from the airport is only a short one at approximately 25-30 minutes.
This evening the group will get together with the Tour Manager for Welcome Drinks. Get to know your tour group and tour manager, reminisce on past tours and trips and share the excitement of The Ashes!

1st NRMA Insurance Ashes Test
The 1st NRMA Insurance Ashes Test is finally here! Make your own leisurely way to the Perth Stadium for the cricket either alongside the Swan River or through Perth centre before returning back at the close of play. Alternatively, Perth has a great public transport system for you to make the most of, which is free on matchdays with a match ticket.
This will be the first ever Ashes Test Match at the new stadium in Perth!

Days at Leisure
Enjoy 2 day's at leisure in the beautiful city of Perth.
These days lend themselves perfectly to catching up on some well-earned rest! Find a spot on one of the serene white-sand beaches and soak up the sun with a good book in hand, our favourite is Cottesloe which can be reached easily by train. Alternatively, why not hop on a ferry across to the famous Rottnest Island to catch a picture of one of the 10,000 cute Quokka's living on the island or head inland to Swan Valley, one of Australia's most renowned wine regions. An evening in Fremantle with some famous fish and chips and a drink at the wonderful Little Creatures brewery is also recommended.

Home to the iconic Harbour Bridge, Opera House and stunning coastlines, the city of Sydney is a destination that surely features on every adventurers bucket-list. With three full days at leisure there is plenty to be enjoyed in the city itself or if you are keen to get out on the water a ferry ride over to Manly offers some great views. Bondi Beach is a train or bus ride away and the wonderful Bondi to Coogee walk is worth the steps, equally a train ride takes you out to the Blue Mountains and some fantastic scenery.

Today you have a day at leisure in Brisbane. Why not take a ferry over to Moreton Island where you have an array of experiences available to you, including whale watching, kayaking and snorkelling.
This evening, head to Howard Smith Wharves, Brisbane’s vibrant dining and lifestyle precinct, which is just a-10 minute walk from Brisbane's CBD. This once-neglected piece of land has been transformed and is now a bustling pedestrian boardwalk lined with restaurants, bars, hotels, and event spaces.

NRMA Insurance Ashes Day/Night Test
The 2nd NRMA Insurance Ashes Test is a day/night match, so enjoy a leisurely morning before making your own way to The Gabba via the City Botanic Gardens and the Brisbane River. Alternatively, public transport is free on matchdays with a match ticket and is designed to get you to and from the stadium with ease.
Traditionally, The Gabba hosts the first Test of the Australian summer, so hopefully a change in schedule will equate to a change in England's horror record in Brisbane.

The Perth Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in the suburb of Burswood. Completed in late 2017, the venue is incredibly modern and primarily plays host to Australian rules football alongside cricket. This will be England's first Test match here, and it will certainly be a tough start - Australia have a very strong record in Test matches here, since it replaced the famous WACA. Stokes and McCullum will be desperate to get off to a strong start in Perth after England's slow start in the last home Ashes series proved decisive.

A favourite ground of the late Shane Warne, The Gabba, or 'The Gabbatoir,' has not been a happy hunting ground for England. Just the two Test win's have come England's way since the Second World War. Usually the first Test of the Australian summer, perhaps the change in the traditional schedule will coincide with a change in England's fortunes as they look to right the wrong's of Rory Burns' leg stump.
