Individual Crew Place Package on a Match First 40 yacht

Enjoy a fantastic day on the water with an Individual Crew Place on a Match First 40 yacht. The Match First 40 yachts are the only perfectly matched fleet in the UK, and the only fleet with their own dedicated racing class during AAM Cowes Week. This ensures the racing is fair, and winning comes down to the teamwork and skill on-board. This allows you to take part as an individual and be placed within a team for the day. Included in this package is breakfast at the race briefing, onboard racing lunch, soft drinks onboard, full safety briefing, practice time, entry into the Match First 40 Race class, access to an exclusive hospitality area, celebratory drink and full sailing wet weather gear is supplied.

Post-race drinks and prize giving

Once the racing is over, there will be drinks and a prize giving on the Events Centre balcony where you can celebrate your successes with the crew.

Full itinerary

Day 1

Sunday 9 August 2015
Arrivew at Cowes

Arrive at Cowes Yacht Haven, Cowes.
Once there make your way to the dedicated hospitality area for registration. Enjoy breakfast with the rest of your crew whilst you meet your skipper for the day and receive the daily race briefing. A Full safety briefing will be given on the yacht before you head out onto the Solent.
Once out on the Solent there is plenty of time for practice and to learn the ropes with the crew and skipper before lunch at around midday. Then the racing begins!
After the racing, head to the Events Centre balcony where you can celebrate your successes with the crew with drinks and a prize giving.
Once the day is over why not stick around around enjoy the live music and atmosphere in the event village.
