The home of Irish cricket, Malahide Cricket Club Ground or "The Village" opened for international cricket in 2013. Located within the grounds of the historic Malahide castle, the ground has been developed to a capacity of 11,500, making it the largest cricket venue in Ireland.
Malahide Cricket Club held its first international match in 2013, hosting England in a One-Day International in front of a full-house of a record 10,000 people.
Following Ireland's Test status in 2017, Malahide was confirmed as the venue for Ireland's first men's Test match, when they played Pakistan in May 2018.
England have not returned to Malahide since their victory in 2019, with England hoping to retain their winning status in the first ever three match T20I Test series between the 2 teams.
