A highlight of many a Gullivers trip, our popular Gullivers cricket evening will be back in New Zealand. With past guests including Jonathan Agnew, Phil Tufnell, Jim Maxwell, Sir Alastair Cook, Steve Harmison, Graham Gooch, and many, many more this is a fantastic opportunity to get a unique insight into the game.
As part of the tour itinerary your trip will begin with welcome drinks and an opportunity to meet your Tour Manager and fellow tourists. A group dinner hosted by your Tour Manager is also included during your trip.
To ensure you have the best possible experience on tour, you will have a dedicated Gullivers Tour Manager escorting your tour group in New Zealand. They will be supported by an extensive office and on-site operations team.

A day at leisure to enjoy in Christchurch. The Botanical Gardens in Hagley Park are a great way to experience some of the local flora, or the gondola offers breath-taking views of Christchurch and beyond.
The Riverside Market in the CBD is also a popular choice, offering plenty of food vendors, unique arts and crafts, and local produce.
It's finally here! With the ground a short walk from your hotel, make your own way to the Hagley Oval for each day of the Test.
The last Test match England played here ended in a draw, though Mark Wood did get his only Test match half-century to date.

Today we head to the North Island in preparation for the second Test!
On arrival into Wellington we will transfer to the hotel for a seven night stay.
Nestled between green hills and a sparkling harbour, Wellington is a vibrant city with a buzzing art, music, theatre and restaurant scene, as well as designer and boutique shopping. Wellington is also home to the New Zealand Parliament and the national museum, Te Papa.
A day to become accustomed to your new surroundings in Wellington.
Wellington is renowned for its vibrant culture - Hannah's Laneway is right in the heart of the city and is the perfect place to taste some local flavours or pick up some souvenirs. Another must-do is the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, which will give you a great insight into Maori culture.

Each morning transfer with the group to the Basin Reserve for all five days of the second Test. At the end of each day's play, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Hagley Oval is set against the stunning natural backdrop of the well-established trees and fields of Hagley Park. The ground pays tribute to the cricketing history of Canterbury, celebrating it's famous players - most notably Sir Richard Hadlee.

One of the most popular cricket grounds in the world, and is labelled as a Historic Area in New Zealand. Turned from a swamp into a cricket ground in 1857, it's the oldest Test cricket stadium in New Zealand, and is also the location where now England coach Brendon McCullum scored his famous 302 in 2014. The New Zealand Cricket Museum is also housed on-site, displaying cricket memorabilia and a reference library.
A standard general admission ticket is included in your package. General admission tickets will be provided with a deckchair for the grassbanks. Exact seating location is still to be confirmed. You have the option to upgrade to a Category B ticket (Old Museum Stand) for +£25pp, or a Category A ticket (R.A. Vance Stand) for +£45pp. Category B & A tickets still allow you access to the grassbanks.
