  • Day 1

    Depart for Rome

    Depart from London Heathrow for Rome. You will then be met and transferred to your hotel. Spend two nights on a bed and breakfast basis.

    This evening, why not make your way to the Trastevere, a picturesque medieval area located on the west bank of the Tiber. The area escaped the grand developments which changed the face of central Rome and is a charming place to wander, eat or relax.

    Match day has arrived and the atmosphere around the city will begin to build. There's also time to visit more of Rome's highlights including the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, ancient Rome's best preserved building.

    Depart Rome

    Most of the day is free for sightseeing. You could head over to the Vatican, one of Rome's highlights. Enjoy a walk around St Peter's Square and take in the magnificent architecture.
