See stage 20 of the tour

The penultimate stage of the tour, stage 20 allows you to take full advantage of the superbly-located Hotel Belle Aurore. Exclusive access to the terrace for music, a BBQ, bar and live TV coverage is the perfect way to see all the action as the tour makes its way towards Alpe d'Huez and up the famous 21 bends, before they pass below the hotel terrace within the final kilometre of the stage.

3 Nights' Accommodation

Located in the heart of Alpe d’Huez with a view over the town and mountains, the 2★ Hotel Belle Aurore is a typical mountain hotel used by skiing groups in the winter and cyclists in the summer, offering basic accommodation and facilities. Selected for it's location with a view over the course route.

Full itinerary

Day 1

Thursday 23 July
Arrive Alpe d’Huez

Fly to Grenoble, Lyon or Geneva to reach Alpe d’Huez. Contact us for recommendations on airport transfer options to Alpe d’Huez. Check in at the hotel is available from 2pm. See stage 18 of the Tour on TV at the hotel. Starting at 12.20pm and finishing at approximately 5.00pm.
Day 2

Friday 24 July
Day at leisure

Stage 19 of the Tour de France, from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne to La Toussuire and passing over the nearby Col du Glandon. Starting at 1.25pm and finishing around 5.30pm.
Day 3

Saturday 25 July
Race day: Stage 20

Breakfast served in the hotel. Enjoy a BBQ with an open bar on the hotel terrace, with open bar for the afternoon. Watch the tour coverage from large TV screens in the hotel. See the tour pass the hotel in the final kilometer of the race. Special four course evening meal served in the hotel

Check out of the hotel by midday.
