Gullivers Sports Travel have been travelling to France every year for Six Nations and Formula 1 events, as well as the last two major sporting events hosted by France in Euro 2016 and Rugby World Cup 2007. We know France and we know rugby, this will be our 10th Rugby World Cup since the first one in 1987.

Day 1
Check in
Check-in at Edinburgh Airport for your flight to Paris. On arriving in Paris we will transfer you by coach where you can check into your first hotel of your 9 night trip for Rugby World Cup France 2023. Welcome to France’s capital city! There is so much to see in Paris, so much in fact that the city seems to have been designed especially for the enjoyment of its visitors! Paris is the second most visited city in the world and with every visit there are new experiences to be had, whether it is cruising the Seine, ascending the Eiffel Tower, visiting the Louvre museum or finding a café bar in Montmartre from which to enjoy watching its famous painters.

Day 2
Match Day
Today is a Rugby World Cup France 2023 match day.
Make your own way to the stadium, soaking up the atmosphere that comes only with the magic of major sporting tournaments. The Stade de France is in the Saint-Denis area of Paris and there are plenty of ways to get to the stadium using public transport; using either the RER, Metro or tram followed by a short walk to the stadium.
Add on a Gullivers clubhouse event to your package to enhance your rugby getaway. Enjoy a drink, some rugby chat and a rugby atmosphere amongst friends. Previous guests include Kelly Brown, Craig Chalmers, Alastair Kellock and many more.
The Gullivers Clubhouse will be hosted at Café Oz Denfert, on the doorstep of the Montparnasse district, from 4pm and will be showing the other QF’s at 5pm. The venue is within walking distance of some of the city's top attractions and is minutes away from Denfert-Rochereau Metro stop, perfectly located for your onward journey to Stade de France.
Whilst currently planned for Saturday, should Scotland’s schedule mean they are drawn to play on Sunday, the clubhouse event will instead be held prior to the match on Sunday as we build up to kick-off together. Confirmation of this change would be communicated to you no later than 9th October.

Day 4
Paris to the French Riviera
Today we depart Paris for the French Riviera. Flying down from Paris to Nice we will then transfer to your hotel for a 3 night stay on the Riviera. Nice is at the heart of the ‘Cote d’Azur’ and as such is a renowned holiday spot. Surrounded by stunning coastline and beaches and home to the famous Promenade des Anglais, the old town and its central square ‘Nissa la Bella’ (meaning the beautiful Nice) is sure to be a popular spot during RWC23.

Day 5-6
Nice
Two full days to relax, enjoy and explore Nice. Walk the Promenade des Anglais, enjoy a coffee stop on one of the many side street cafes, take a swim in the Mediterranean; there is plenty to do in Nice itself. However, if you want to venture out the city, Monaco is just a short train ride away or heading in the other direction Cannes awaits you!
During your stay in Nice your Tour Manager will host a group dinner. A wonderful way to mix with the group, share rugby stories and enjoy some French cuisine!

Nice to Paris
Today we head back up to Paris and the excitement and anticipation of the Finals of Rugby World Cup France 2023. We'll catch a flight from Nice to Paris and then head to our final stop of the tour for a 3 night stay during which we'll watch both of the Semi Finals at the Stade de France.

Should the draw occur that a pre-match event on the Friday would be more suited we will contact you by the 16th October with confirmation of this change.
