A Yorkshireman by birth but I have lived in Scotland since 1990. A relatively young Rugby Club President, Rugby fan and keen Rugby player still. A front row forward and Hooker by trade, I thrive through involvement either on the training paddock, coaching the juniors or taking any sports teams on tour. Sport and travel, it really doesn’t get much better than that.
My previous positions have allowed me to man-manage and organise major events with great numbers, ensuring Customer Service is maximised. I have been extremely fortunate having travelled the globe, meeting some extraordinary people that I have remained good friends with over the years, from the famous Springbok Rugby player Chester Williams, who is Patron of the Children’s Red Cross Hospital in Cape Town, to the customers that I have taken away on tours worldwide. I have been responsible for supporting all schools, clubs and Universities in achieving their fund raising schemes for their individual tours away.
“Building a close working relationship is key to a successful tour, by knowing exactly what the customer wants and understanding their needs and requirements.”
My most memorable moment is watching the British & Irish Lions beat Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane.
