England and Wales face New Zealand and Australia respectively this weekend.

England and Wales kick off their autumn internationals this weekend (November 8th) and the opposition could not be any tougher.

England welcome world champions New Zealand to Twickenham while Wales entertain Australia at the Millennium Stadium. Both sides will be looking to put disappointing summer tours behind them and build momentum ahead of the new year's Six Nations.

    England vs New Zealand

England open the QBE Autumn Internationals with a Test against the best in the business. The All Blacks arrive at Twickenham having lost just once in the past the two years and gained four straight victories over England during the tour in June.

Head coach Stuart Lancaster expects lock Dave Attwood and inside centre Brad Barritt to be back fit and the pair are set to start against New Zealand. Barritt has not started for England for over a year and was ruled out of the 2013 autumn international due to injury.

However, injuries to Leicester's Manu Tuilagi and Northampton's Luther Burrell mean Barritt could start as an outside centre as opposed to his favoured inside position.

Lancaster has released 12 players back to their clubs to create a 23-man match squad. One of those set to be involved is Bath's uncapped winger Semesa Rokoduguni. While the team will not be announced until Thursday (November 6th), forwards coach Graham Rowntree told BBC Radio 5 Live that Rokoduguni will be "heavily involved".

England will want to invoke the spirit of 2012 when tries from Barritt, Chris Ashton and Manu Tuilagi gave them a famous 38-21 over the All Blacks at Twickenham.

    Wales vs Australia

Wales head into Saturday's 2014 Dove Men Series Autumn Internationals opener aiming to break a hoodoo. The Red Dragons have not beaten opponents Australia since 2008, losing their last nine Tests against the Wallabies.

Despite Australia's impressive record against the Welsh, captain Sam Warburton does not believe there is a "psychological barrier" when it comes to beating their southern hemisphere counterparts. The Cardiff Blues flanker has tasted recent success over the Wallabies after skippering the British and Irish Lions to victory in their 2013 tour Down Under.

Warburton also believes it can be perfect preparation ahead of the 2015 World Cup. Wales have been placed against Australia along with hosts England in the same pool of the tournament. A win in Cardiff could be the perfect impetus to take into next year's World Cup.

Head coach Warren Gatland will be without the services of Jonathan Davies, who has failed to recover from an injury. He will be replaced by Scarlets winger Liam Williams while Northampton's George North will move to midfield and Leigh Halfpenny will switch to full-back.

Rhys Webb will start at scrum-half ahead of Mike Phillips, while Bath loose-head Paul James has been given the nod as Gethin Jenkins drops to the bench.
