I have always been interested in sport and played netball from a young age up to county standard. I studied Sports Science and Music at university after which I decided to take a year out and travel to Australasia. I thought that this would get the travel bug out of my system, but it did the opposite and I have loved to travel ever since. After deciding that a teaching career wasn’t for me, I joined Gullivers in February 2001 to work on the Lions Tour to Australia, which was a fantastic experience. From then on, I have worked mainly in the school and clubs department, organising playing tours around the world, with a particular focus on the Caribbean.
I was also lucky enough to live in Barbados for over a year, when Gullivers had an office there for ICC Cricket World Cup 2007. I was involved in the planning and final stages of this event, where I worked with the teams, media and supporters from around the world.
My favourite place to travel is the Caribbean, and my favourite moment at Gullivers...well there are so many it's difficult to have one defining moment! My first trip as a Tour Manager to Australia for the Lions 2001 has to be up there though.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing netball and watching many other sports, especially rugby and cricket. I also enjoy anything that involves good food and wine (and perhaps a rum or two)!
