The Welsh Rugby Union has extended its partnership with Gullivers Sports Travel until 2022.

WRU officials first shook hands on a major new sponsorship deal with the UK's leading, and longest established, multi-sport tour operator in 2014.

With over 65,000 air miles successfully travelled by Welsh rugby supporters - across eight different countries and 11 major international stadia - since that time, it will be welcome news to fans that  Gullivers’ ‘Official Supplier’ status has now been secured for a further three years.

The partnership extension has been inspired by thousands of satisfied customers for Gullivers over four Six Nations campaigns, two summer tours and one British & Irish Lions tour – with 2018 Under Armour Series, 2019 NatWest 6 Nations and 2019 Rugby World Cup packages all also proving popular.

"We are delighted to extend our partnership with Gullivers Sports Travel and thereby ensure Welsh rugby fans have access to the very best travel support available when they venture out to watch Wales around the globe," said WRU chief executive Martyn Phillips.

"We are extremely proud to be able continue our partnership with such a major force in the world travel market.
“Gullivers know our sport inside out and know what fans need when they are travelling to support their team and we can continue to relax in the knowledge that they will be looking after the travel needs of our fans for many more years to come."

Ticket-inclusive packages are available now for the 2018 Under Armour Series autumn internationals, when Wales take on Scotland, Australia, Tonga and South Africa at Principality Stadium - packages start from just £79pp.

And we also have ticket-inclusive tours available for all Wales games, home and away, in the 2019 NatWest Six Nations when fans can enjoy the delights of Rome, Paris and Edinburgh as well as watching Wales face England and Ireland at home.

"For over 40 years Gullivers Sports Travel has earned a reputation for reliability, consistency and quality as the trusted suppliers of sports travel for thousands of dedicated supporters,” said Henry Kirchner, Gullivers Head of Sales & Partnerships.

“We’ve been delighted to continue this reputation over the last four years with the Welsh Rugby Union, providing official travel and tour packages for supporters to follow the Welsh national team.

“I am delighted that Gullivers has renewed its Official Travel Supplier status with the WRU after developing a fantastic relationship with the WRU and its dedicated travelling supporters.

“From Six Nations tours every year, to long haul trips like the British & Irish Lions Tour to New Zealand, it has been an absolute delight and a credit to rugby and fans in Wales to see such incredible travelling support to fixtures all across the globe.

“We look forward to continuing this incredible journey with the fans and providing a variety of official ticket-inclusive tour packages that will cater for all categories of supporter.

“Our partnership with the WRU has gone from strength to strength, and, with a huge amount of rugby coming up over the next few years, we will continue to facilitate these incredible rugby experiences for fans.”

Following the Six Nations, we will be looking ahead to the Rugby World Cup 2019™ where we will be providing ticket-inclusive travel packages for Wales fans looking to see the team in action in Japan – prices from just £4,295pp.

Whether you’re looking to take in the group stages, or have faith that Wales will progress to the knock out stages – we have packages to suit everyone.
