A temporary summer job bought me to Gullivers back in July 1997 and I never left! Current day to day role involves organising youth rugby festivals, really getting involved at grass roots level, and worldwide playing tours, giving older children the opportunity to experience different countries and cultures, as well as play their team sport, but I also work on the Six Nations in the supporters operations department.
My favourite place to travel is Rome, Italy – there is so much more to Rome than you could ever imagine, the ancient buildings; Colosseum, St Peter's Basilica, the Pantheon, the many Piazzas where you can grab a coffee and sit endlessly watching the world go by, the incredible food; fresh pasta, pizza and gelato. Beautiful parks and gardens, stunning fountains, amazing galleries and so much more.
The highlight of my career so far was watching England lift the Webb Ellis Cup following the emotionally exhausting Rugby World Cup Final in Sydney 2003. In my spare time, I enjoy reading fictional novels, swimming (I've completed three Great North Swims) and socialising with friends - pub, pub, pub! Passionate about music and theatre, volunteer dog walker for the Cinnamon Trust charity and a qualified Zumba instructor.
