Ferrari finally won the battle to seize a win in their home country!

After Le Clerc’s maiden Grand Prix win at Spa a week ago, Ferrari fans were now desperate to see him repeat this by winning at the home of Ferrari, Monza.

We had a variety of flights heading out to Milan Malpensa which saw clients fly out from London Heathrow and Manchester airport. Clients were able to choose from 3 different locations with transfer times to the circuit being between 40 minutes and an hour. Guests were able to choose from the city of Milan, and the picturesque towns of Bergamo and Como. Many of our guests arrived on Friday evening to discuss the weekend ahead and if we were going to witness an overdue win for Ferrari at Monza.

Saturday saw our coaches come through the park of Monza to arrive in good time before the support races and many took photos of the steep banking of the old circuit. Much to the delight of the home crowd, Le Clerc finished on pole and yet again was followed by the two Mercedes drivers Hamilton and Bottas.

Sunday’s race was somewhat of a controversial race after Le Clerc pushed Hamilton slightly off the track, giving the officials no other option but to give Le Clerc a black and white warning flag. This was an extremely intense race and much like Spa, Mercedes were pushing Le Clerc right up until the final lap. Le Clerc did manage to hold off the Mercedes pressure to win his second Grand Prix in as many weeks, to give Ferrari their first win since 2010. It does spark concerns for Vettel who seems to be struggling for form, while Le Clerc seems to be getting stronger and stronger.

Guests were able to enjoy their last night before many returned the following day on our charter flight.

Singapore is the next race weekend now and has what is known as a very tight, twisted track, which will not suit Ferrari and could see Mercedes gain momentum in the closing stages of the race calendar.
