As like all that work for Gullivers, sport and travel have been a major part of my life to date. I went on my first rugby tour as an energetic eight year old, where we left no stone unturned on a tour to Barry Island! I have been on a number of sports tours to many European destinations and further afield to the Dubai 7s; the pinnacle however was the 2005 British & Irish Lions Tour to New Zealand. It was in New Zealand where the travel bug hit so like all students, I completed my degree and embarked on a gap year around North America, Australasia and home via Asia. China and Vietnam were a real highlight. I returned with long hair, a travellers beard and worn out credit card but with memories to cherish! The reality then struck that I needed a job to continue my travel ambitions and after spending four years working in the school travel market I had little hesitation in accepting a role with Gullivers in November 2012. Further travel has taken me around South America (my favourite place to travel) and Sri Lanka. Iguazu Falls and the Inca Trail are a must! The hardest question to answer, is where to go next..?
My top moment at Gullivers was getting the opportinuty to referee at the Burnham-on-Sea Minis & Juniors Rugby Festival. In my spare time, I like ensuring profits remain high throughout the local watering holes.
