    Your trip:

Ireland v Wales in Dublin, 22-25 February 2024

What was your favourite part of Dublin?

Probably the Temple Bar area – the cobbled roads with bars on every corner made for a real buzz around the city!

What was your favourite part of the trip?

Ireland winning! As a green jersey wearer in Dublin the atmosphere was something else! It was amazing to celebrate in the many bars and pubs whilst hearing the Irish fans chant and celebrate.

    How was the Match?

The match was really good, the atmosphere in the Aviva stadium lived up to all expectations and didn’t disappoint with the cheering of Irish fans countered by the singing Welsh fans. Wales fought hard for large parts of the game, but the Irish were ultimately too strong.

What would you recommend doing in Dublin?

Either the Guinness Storehouse or Temple Bar area, the buzz around the city during a game weekend is amazing so you’re sure to have an unforgettable time. There’s live music in most bars and of course the holy grail that is a proper Guinness. Another recommendation is to go to The Legal Eagle just off Chancery Pl by the courts – award winning place with amazing food! (recommended by lots of clients staying in the Hampton Hotel).
