England's Football World Cup draw looks to be an extremely favourable one. But will it turn out that way?

Winning the Six Nations may bring the most tangible rewards outside of World Cups, but there is no doubt that the top northern hemisphere teams measure their ultimate strength against their counterparts from the south.

In the end, the final Grand Prix was a slight anticlimax: Lewis Hamilton, whose brilliance has soared to new heights this year, could only finish a meek second as his team-mate Valtteri Bottas cruised to victory in Abu Dhabi. 

There is nothing like the anticipation of an Ashes Series, with its intense build-up, the customary war of words, close scrutiny of form and fevered discussion over selection. The 2017-18 Series is clearly no different.

The NFL's London Games 2017 came to an end on Sunday (October 29th) at Twickenham Stadium in London, where the Minnesota Vikings ran out convincing 33-16 victors over the still winless Cleveland Browns.
